Subject: Re: USA must retaliate for Pearl murder swiftly, without mercy

In response to:
"In the awful new world jungle in which we now find ourselves, the time has arrived, I am saddened to say, to formally put the country and this society in a perpetual state of war against all those who would harm our citizens."

Yes, as you said, you are very disturbed, professor. You may want to review Huxley's 1984 and see if in your current depression you want to doom future generations to what the Israelis and Palestinians are doing to their children. As for me I can not fight for peace, only speak out in a rational voice to rational ears who are not locked in fear and vengance. Each one of us must choose, not let the actions of a violent few decide our course of action. Daniel Pearl chose in this way. American justice will prevail, of that I am certain. But your thoughts are not expressing justice. If this is what you teach your students, all the "God Bless America" singing we do won't save us.

Chris
